Friday Quote: Stringing Beads

I learned that you should feel when writing, not like Lord Byron on a mountaintop, but like a child stringing beads in kindergarten: happy, absorbed and quietly putting one bead on after another.

That's lovely! Now if I can just find some time to be relaxed while I string a few of those beads . . .

Thanks; I like this quote a lot!

I stumbled across this one while absentmindedly poking around for quotes on beads. Sheer serendipity that it was about writing, as well.

I like serendipity.
