On Mother's Day...and Easter

Someone I'd consider a cyberfriend of sorts asked what I was given for Mother's Day this year. That would be these teacups. I've got a thing for hot tea, and Great Scott is kind enough to indulge me.

For Easter, he gave me the coolest apron ever.

The tea set is lovely, LuCindy! And the apron completes your personality profile . . . :-) (Sorry, couldn't resist!)

Love you!

Thank you. The tea tastes extra good in them. I don't have to use as much honey. :)

And the apron...the apron greatly concerned one of The Older Daughter's friends a couple nights ago when she came downstairs to see what was for dinner and caught me cooking in it.

Which is what it is for. :D

OMG!!!! The apron totally rocks! And the tea set is very nice. What would be your favorite tea?

Seeker--I like herbal teas best. Caffeine doesn't agree with me in the least. Celestial Seasonings' peppermint, Tension Tamer, and Red Safari Spice are my current favorites, although I also like Sleepytime and blueberry, and their Lemon and Raspberry Zinger teas are good iced. Right now I'm consuming a lot of Traditional Medicinals' Throat Coat and Breathe Easy teas because of a pre-summer cold. :p

Are you a tea person or mostly a fine, fermented beverage person?

I'm a tea person as well as being a fermented beverage consumer. I like Celestial Seasonings Sleepytime, decaf India Spice Chai, Madagascar Vanilla Red, and Honey Vanilla Chamomile. In addition, I like Tazo's Orange tea and Vanilla Almond by the Republic of Tea. Hmmm...I didn't realize I had so many vanilla teas in my cabinet.

Though my favorite tea for summer is decaf with LARGE scoopings of stevia over ice.
