B...Beth--Hopefully your weekend went well for you.

Ben--Cloister Walk is my personal favorite of Norris's books, but this one is only a fraction of an ooch behind. Actually, this one's probably most good for me. Glad to have found another fan. As our older daughter says, "How cool is that?"

My dear Toad--I do not envy your situation, but I am covetous to know your epiphanies. Evidently they're almost the inverse of mine. I think it's time to share your wisdom with me, Cheryl. You are learning things, I suspect, that are out of my range of experience to provide.

Rae--Check out Norris, definitely! I ran across this one almost by accident, even though I'm a Norris fan. A definite must for women who think (and especially for those of us who sometimes think too much). Even if they are extraverts. :D ;)

Oh, Joyella--I've often thought that if Anne Lamott and St. Francis could be combined in one body, you'd pretty much have Cindy Lawson as the result. The "Brother Ass" attitude is one I'm in sore need of right now. I've got the "ass" part down; it's the "brotherly" part my attitude balks at. :pLucindylhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09964098413407674122noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9243061.post-1105998536178254962005-01-17T15:48:00.000-06:002005-01-17T15:48:00.000-06:00oops, sorry for the typos.oops, sorry for the typos.Joyellahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14088523000721050537noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9243061.post-1105989115587415662005-01-17T13:11:00.000-06:002005-01-17T13:11:00.000-06:00Cindy, I feel perhaps that we are "insync" somehow...Cindy, I feel perhaps that we are "insync" somehow, as I have been struggling with similar things right along with you. Thank you for your encouraging words and epiphanies. I recall that C.S. Lewis referred to his canational being as "Brother Ass", as he felt it slowed him down from doing what he wished, just a funny thought.Joyellahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14088523000721050537noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9243061.post-1105941701763259402005-01-17T00:01:00.000-06:002005-01-17T00:01:00.000-06:00Lucinda, my friends and I joke frequently about ho...Lucinda, my friends and I joke frequently about how much food we have to make and that "we keep feeding these children and they keep needing to eat again."

I am so with you, but as an Extroverted iNtuitive ;p

Thanks for the encouraging words and I am off to save the book to my wishlist.rhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00311172829185599472noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9243061.post-1105745838929051582005-01-14T17:37:00.000-06:002005-01-14T17:37:00.000-06:00That's some good stuff Cindy. Ok, so all of her stuff is good even though The Virgin of Bennington went on about 75 pages too long. :)Benhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04860001064646105605noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9243061.post-1105740072147697752005-01-14T16:01:00.000-06:002005-01-14T16:01:00.000-06:00Beautiful.
